alrighty, i'm back now that i've read the last two chapters, to give more comments! blab blab blab, i can't stop.
***spoilers below! in case anybody hasn't read yet.
ok, so i just KNEW that draco's "magical emissions" had to have some importance sometime! i did the biggest squee when i realized draco was getting ready to have a magical outburst at just the right time.
good job on the polyjuiced!carr bit. i was actually quite surprised, and then i was really happy that i was surprised, because that's always tons of fun. of course i figured out that carr was evil and would show his true colors eventually, but the actual mechanism of it caught me off guard.
i just have to give another huge SQUEE to daniel. he is possibly my favorite OC ever. his POV sections were laugh-out-loud hilarious...dean "praying in latin," the magical characters talking knowingly about what weapon sully might have used on herself...and this line!! Good lord. Bit macabre, isn't it? And redundant. I mean, if you're still here, isn't it obvious you lived? that has pretty much always been my take on harry's unfortunate title. not that i don't also see the serious side to it, but really...*snerk*
completely wonderful fic, especially when combined with ATBT! i can't wait to read this over and over and over...
Thank you! I'm really surprised and pleased how readers have taken Daniel into their hearts. I know I like him, but I wasn't sure if you guys would think he took time away from the "real" characters. So I appreciate you letting me know you found him as lovable as I do.
I rewrote the ending three times - and not just little things, but major new stuff. The way Carr ended up was a surprise to me, too. That's not as odd as you would think.
