DNC Convention

I visited the Democratic National Convention this afternoon, in lieu of er, going to work. But hey, it's a big deal! And it was a beautiful day for it. I chatted up some visiting delegates and generally made a day of it.

slytherincess has companion shots of Civic Center Park from last evening, here. Good thing, because the whole park was entirely closed off behind fencing today to prepare for The Taste of Colorado this weekend (yeah...)

The place you are watching on TV (the Pepsi Center) is restricted to delegates and badge-holders only and for blocks around, so I couldn't even get a shot of it. And security hollered at me when I attempted to take a picture of the ID process. Imagine it, though.

I love that sign that says something like "WARNING: drunkards fornicators masturbators atheists witches revelers [etc]." It's like, SOUNDS LIKE ALL THE FUN PEOPLE IN LIFE. I mean, REVELERS!
