I made a boatload of new icons today. Prepare to be spammed with Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein. (And this one of Boyd.) Did I ever tell you that one of my early jobs was as an art history librarian? True (damn, now I can't use that tidbit for my next meme).

I discovered what I believe is the full text of Annie Proulx's short story Brokeback Mountain online, Brokeback Mountain. Do I have to warn you? 'K. SPOILER! SPOILER! Run away! I decided that even though this is the first gay cowboy movie that I know of, I have to know the ending so I can prepare for any potential angst.

And the answer is yes, there's major angst. Of course we can't have two men in love in America without a major sad ending, because that's what Teh Gay is for us, right? Tragedy in a neat little package. Oh, well, I'll see it anyway and cry buckets. Good thing I don't wear mascara.
