It's no secret that I've glommed on to the RL model Boyd Holbrook as my "Thousand Beautiful Things" Draco. I mean, look at him in these icons of mine: blond, attractive, pointy, aristocratic, young, did I mention attractive? But RL has a way of sneaking things in to the little world I created.

Like this. Warning: Not worksafe. Boyd is the one on the left.

Those of you who use Tom Felton as your Draco don't have this to contend with. Just some fish shots. The best part of all is the caption from the original article: Dior's silk chiffon dresses, by John Galliano. Ha! These guys are wearing Dior! Bet you couldn't have guessed.

And there are more. I blame thank [livejournal.com profile] kattiya for bringing these to my attention. Many other pix from this article are here.

ATBT Draco would not pose for shots like these. He would Apparate the hell out of there and commiserate with Snape over expensive scotch or something. But I bet [livejournal.com profile] shaggirl's Ouroboros Draco would somehow be involved in this. I mean, you have to wonder what's going on here. And here. There's a story to this, I'm sure. One that involves Aurors. And secret plans. But definitely not Dumbledore. The poor guy wouldn't be able to make head nor tails of these images.

I'm amazed. To think that the sexually ambiguous Draco in my vision is IRL posing for sexually ambiguous fashion photos is just...synchronicity.

An aside: [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo, my mentor in fandom things, in reply to my whining, has informed me that I have never had any of you lovely artistes draw anything for my fics because I haven't groveled and begged enough. And because I use ol' Boyd.

This is me, groveling and begging.

Another aside: those of you who instead use Jude Law as your Draco: he's on the cover of Vanity Fair this month. And yes, he is a wonderful choice as well.

I'll join you in hell.

Icon show-er-off-er. You keep flailing that about like that and somebody's going to snatch it away and keep it for her very own lock it in a closet to admire at odd times claim it.

Oooo...we can have Wet! icon battles now!! You just wanted to show him off in all his dripping glory didn't you? *g*

And I love [livejournal.com profile] wayfairer's icon (even in all its cutoffness) cause you still get the crack. Such a tease! *flails some more*

(I really must stop flailing about - I'm going to throw out my back *g*)

I've only made up two so far.

I owe this all to you, you know! Any pretense of me coming across as some kind of mature, intellectual, wise fan author has just gone out the window with this post. My reputation is officially gone.

It was so unexpected, too. The first shot I saw was the "fight scene" one, and I thought it had to have been Photoshopped as a joke.

It triggers all kinds of story arcs in my mind.

Although I embrace your sentiments entirely on icon-ification of RL persons. I love to see the pretty pictures, but I have zero interest in Boyd Holbrook in my real life.

I'm pretty sure Ouroboros!Draco would jump at the chance to model Dior dresses. ;) Man, Boyd's got legs that never end. *drools* Beats fish and pimples hands down. My Draco will always be duckpuppy's though. <333

DUDE.

you need to write harry/draco crossdressing smut.

Viki, that photoshoot has reduced me to a puddle of flailing drool. And believe me, I didn't know drool could flail, but clearly there are limits to hotness I had not reached.

Aja! Yay - so many lovely bases. It's always good to see such madness - especially when the end result is so pretty. *g*

Also, I should mention something that frustrated me: I know you pimped out ASexual on all 3 of your journals(?). Well, someone who has [livejournal.com profile] brimful friended when and hotlinked all the pics from my server in this community - WITHOUT my permission. Argh. So annoying.

From: [identity profile] bookshop.livejournal.com

I'm sorry, that's awful. Would you like me to do anything about it, make some sort of reminder that hotlinking is uncool? I imagine the person who didn't just didn't realise what hotlinking actually was, and that it was bad.

A reminder would be great. I just got really annoyed since the pics were hotlinked in a photo community with 800+ members - I mean that and the fact that everyone keeps reccing it *g* means my bandwidth is through the roof. So thanks!

As many kinks as I have, crossdressing isn't one of them (though I don't mind a little lipstick on a boy ;). I'd read it, though, if someone else wrote it.

Coming into Los Angeles? Yeah, there was an intro to this fashion article explaining that the shots were done in LA, and the song just earwormed right into my brain and formed the soundtrack.

I suppose L.A. Woman would have done as well. Maybe have even been more apropos considering the context.
