If you're looking for my index to AJ Hall's writing, scroll down or look in my memories. And welcome, pull up a chair and set a spell.

Just back from a whirlwind trip to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Boy, friends, you certainly are productive while I'm out of touch.

First there was the f2f in Denver for a few of us HP types -- pictures are available on [livejournal.com profile] isiscolo. Margaritas were enjoyed. As was the delightful company!

Then, AJ Hall came back to LJ - and I'm so happy! Bless her heart. Not only that, but her "The Kindly Ones" came out, and I managed to print it out and read it on the long drive down to SF. And repeatedly during the week, as well. There is nothing quite so...um, bimodal?... about being in another town, away from the familiarities of home, and focusing on two things: a beautifully realized Draco/Neville story and the scientific efforts to understand the water problems in the Espanola Basin. From the Mediterranean to a rather serious drought.

Then a few WIPs are updated, but I forget where the heck I was in some of the stories, so will have to play catch up.

And I've read a terrific completed story: Green Lights by underlucius, which is just so well written. Between this and AJ Hall's genius, I don't feel like working on my lame writing at all today.
