I need a new holiday

There was a time when Christmas was my favorite holiday. Now I just dread it.

My mother has spent a year week with us as she has done for the past 16 years, and missed her flight home today.

There's no point in even starting to discuss it. Comments not on either, because I am barely eking out these few minutes to post before she squawks about me not being in the living room to entertain her.

Just wanted to let you know I am not dead. I just wish I was.
