In A Lifetime
Jan. 9th, 2004 06:17 pmA very good thing is happening to me.
I've been invited as a guest author for Armchair's January feature, with other (and better) authors (and a very good thing that it's not a calendar pin-up, you realize).
Oh, yeah, www.armchair.org
And God, I have homework!
It'll be an in-depth consideration of why I'm here and writing in the first place (and second and third place...).
And I'm working on my next fic, but as I explained, I can't write WIPs, so I'll be a while. It appears to be long. Mucho plot. I'm all about plot.
OT: why is it that I think the singer Bono's voice would sound exquisite in my bedroom? Just a fantasy. Part of my return to my Celtic roots. I've been cruising town in my Toyota SUV with Gaelic lyrics cranked. Embarrassingly high, and the kids just cringe. My great-grandfather was listed in the 1900 census as a speaker of "Irish" (English is crossed out). What did he sound like, I muse??? Gaelic is Parseltongue in my imagination.
