Looking for Wizarding World vs. Muggle concepts on rule of law

I know I've read some good meta discussions on the differences between the Wizarding World and ours concerning the rule of law, the differences between the two views of rights and responsibilities of the governing bodies, and similar topics. But I can't find them. So if you've written on this or some similar topic, could you link it here? Anything about views on how Wizarding government functions would really help. Many thanks.

All this is in support of a collaboration on a novel-length H/D fic that I'm co-writing with emmagrant01 and abbycadabra, with art by the new fanartist blackboggart. We're all excited and squeeful about this - I mean, we're alike in many ways, but each of us brings to the table someting really unique, too. I've never written anything jointly, so I'm interesting in learning as much as I can about the way Abby and Emma's minds work. And to have an artist working along with us, riffing off our ideas, and vice versa - just too cool, don't you think?

OMG I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE H/D GOODNESS!

So so sorry there, it's just this is the first detail of any kind I've found about the collab, which of course I had already heard about. And yes, I think it's going to be "too cool" and then some. Checked out blackboggart and squeed a little more, because she's darn good. Very excited!

Did you doubt it for a moment? I don't think any of us has written much else. I have one whopping Draco/Remus story to my name. Well, Abby wrote some het before she saw the light.
