I saw this fic on...the Miyamoto Kano community? Or was it YD? Alas, short term memory, I hardly knew ye. >.< In any event, I just wanted to say that, as one of those people (i.e. someone who can count the number of HP fics she's read on one hand, but who has nearly 1.21 gigawatts of yaoi manga on her hard drive), I really enjoyed both this fic and the first one. So, by my count, that brings the number of people who were eagerly awaiting this sequel to three, and that, my dear, makes a crowd! Woo-hoo!
Additionally, I have to express my surprise at your description of what sounds like an insurmountable wall between the slash and yaoi communities; I had no idea it even existed. Are they so different, really? The only thing I can think of offhand is that one involves pictures, while the other does not. Most of the people I've interacted with in various anime and manga communities seem to be down with pretty much any fandom that tickles their fancy, regardless of whether or not the characters are literary or pictorial in nature. *shrugs* Anyway, I just thought it was curious, so I thought I'd give the looking-glass view of things.
