Unless the Sound Has Faded from your Soul

I'm slogging away on the nextbigfic. I'm churning out about a dozen pages a day. Again, I'm working from the inside out -- chapters at random. When done, I'll post it all at once. So much for building an audience. This mad method leaves me with major revision problems - oh, I already mentioned this factoid, oh, that section should be moved over here... It's akin to building a house, to me. Studs and walls first, then drywall, then the cool vertical blinds in just the right color.
Today I considered the reality that I am in a niche of a niche of a niche fandom. And I also wondered approximately how many slash HP fans there actually are. I have no clue. Does anyone? I only know a tiny few non-slash masterpieces. A hidden world. It can stay hidden for awhile.
To anyone who was steered here from my personal goddess, Isis, welcome. I try to keep the gibberish down in my LJ. (Maybe this post isn't a great example). Pardon the senility; it's an age thing.
And I get to meet
isiscolo IRL in two weeks. In the People's Republic of Boulder. (said with love; I used to live there myself).
Listening to Bono/Clannad again. That boy always sings like he's about two or three strokes away from an orgasm. This is not a bad thing, oh no.
I had a major unveiling of a RL online book this week, for which I was project chief and editor. No, you really don't want to read it. Taking 5 years, with over 15 authors, huge, huge project. I'll get more hits on a new HP slash fic in one week than this government-sponsored scientific tome will see in its lifetime.
And that's what Einstein might have meant by relativity.
