I'm still very very new to this fandom. I notice we also share an interest in Neil Gaiman and Mary Renault. At times I really wish I were British - I keep trying to write fanfic of British books, and let me just say how hard it is! This one was the most challenging, because not only was there the Britspeak, but also the dated language and culture to try to pretend I know about. :-)
