Thank you. I found there were pros and cons using an OC for my narrator - that was one of the things I challenged myself to do in this story. But it was hard to get into our heroes heads and emotions from a stranger's POV, which was one of the things I liked so much about the original book. Still, I'm glad it worked for you.
