Maine was worth seeing. I had a vague thought that maybe I'd meet someone who could be flexible enough to just wander off with me and sightsee - now I'm sorry I didn't know you could have done it. We'd have had a great time, and I would have been spared that sad day alone, feeling cut off from all the wonderful women I'd just met.
