Heh, I've done the same in reverse - I Americanise an Aussie friend's stories at times. And it's getting so that the lines have blurred, and I sometimes have to think whether I would have used a certain phrase before I came into fandom, or if I've just become accustomed to seeing it on my flist/in stories.
