It reminds me of someone I used to work with, who was Mr. World-Famous Tectonic Geologist. We peer-review all our publications, and he commented to one poor sucker: "Why don't you just xerox this paper and give it to the two other people on the planet who'd care?" Ouch! (He was fairly nice to me because he disrespected my boss almost as much as I did.)
