Delicate Sound of Thunder - Complete H/D novel

I've posted my latest novel, Delicate Sound of Thunder, on Skyehawke. Click on the photo-credit by the talented [livejournal.com profile] ravurian for the direct link.

Heh, I was just expecting a prologue, but when I clicked what do I see? A whole COMPLETE story. Whew! Obviously I have not been reading your posts thoroughly. I finally got around to reading ATBT just two days ago (went through a fanfiction reading slump) and if posting a whole novel length story at one go is a common occurrence for you, then I wouldn't know. :X

I have only seen an author do this once! You must be a very merciful author, to not subject your readers to weekly angst in waiting for the chapter to come out. Okay, well, I will stop acting like an idiot and go read it now. Yay!

Every now and then, I give mild rants against WIPs. I don't write them. I do read a few, but nothing like I did when I started the fandom. ATBT was posted in its entirety, too.

AJ Hall posts her novels and stories complete. I can't think of anyone else who does at the moment.

WiPs have the same sort of delight that the HP novels do, with a bit less hype. we get to spend a lot more time trying to figure out what'll happen next, and the waiting for new parts is agony, but also sort of thrilling. even so, i like being able to read novel-lengths all in one go just as much. a problem for me with WiPs is that i forget things after awhile, or i get details mixed up with other fics, simply because i don't have the opportunity to absorb it all at once. this is why i think it's a good idea to reread WiPs once they're finished.

ok, heading down to the bottom of the page to review the last two chapters!
