I was tipped off on Thursday that Chapter 8 of A Thousand Beautiful Things had vanished. I think it might have happened about 2 weeks before when I tried to make a simple edit and didn't notice the end dropping into the sea. Of course, I wasn't able to do anything but thrash around on the public library internet connection and put a cryptic note there.
It's all better now.
I shall catch up on all my thank-you's to generous readers who've left comments. But first I shall go read and read and read all your lovely LJ entries from the past 2 weeks.
It's hard to read much with a half-hour limit and a stern librarian with a timer.
