I'm overwhelmed...
May. 29th, 2004 12:30 amWell, old friends and new, I am floored, really. I had no idea that my fic would receive the kind of response it did, and I thank each and every one of you who has sent me comments, or mentioned it on your own LJs, or commented at Skyehawke.
I'm feeling pressure to be somewhat articulate. All I can think to say is "Thanks. Wow. Gah."
Skyehawke is experiencing serious strain on their resources, however. Not just because of A Thousand Beautiful Things.
copperbadge posted some excellent stories of his own this week that are also being read a lot. Skyehawke is asking for donations if their fan base can see fit to help out, but still they may run out of money before they run out of month and you may get a "bandwidth exceeded" message if you try to access them. I feel horrible about contributing to their woes. They've been wonderful to me.
I've tossed up the chapters of ATBT in html on my new, completely unprepared website (thanks to Isis for setting it up). We're talking no format on the site at all - just files you can copy off.
It's here: geoviki.arithmancy.net
I had plans to tart it up after our family vacation, but I think it's needed right now. So pardon my dust.
