The Waters of March

Part of the story deals with Draco Malfoy's appearance, and I've used this picture by the talented HP artist Lisa Rourke as my guide:

He is looking like what we used to call a stone fox, and what my daughter calls a hottie. So is this canon or fanon? My opinion is that the Malfoys are bred for looks, so he probably is darn hot. It was brought to mind this spring, when my daughter and I went to see 42nd Street (the play) downtown. Three young men got into the elevator with us, and you could just tell they had money by their dress and attitude. They were also all quite good looking. So the image of being rich and good-looking seems to have a basis in fact. Rich folk attract a bigger dating pool than the rest of us, and if you can marry someone hot as well, then why not?
