Awww, I'm happy to feature in anyone's dreams (well, except nightmares, unless I'm coming to your rescue!). I spent this spring rereading the HP books from #5 on, mostly because I galloped through them right when they were released and never read them since. They hold up a lot better (and make more sense too) once you know the story arc ahead of time.
I'm not much in HP fandom these days either, but I do have the great pleasure to reconnect with 5 other (former) HP fan-women for a long weekend every summer. So don't let anyone say that fandom doesn't create true friendship because I don't believe it and have evidence.
So yes, I''m doing well and about to become a grandmother after the new year. And you with a six year old - wow, time flies, enjoy the years because it whizzes by. Great to hear from you.
