ATBT finally posted on Archive of our Own

Thanks to all my FList buddies for the help I needed to post A Thousand Beautiful Things over on AO3. Yay, it can go onto e-readers now! Because of the length, I did have to break the story into two parts (I merged the original 9 chapters into 2). The stuff I have up so far is all here:

Even with your help, I still ended up doing a couple of hours of HTML code wrangling just to get those stupid lyrics right. Who'da'thunk? And I haven't got the sequel, Delicate Sound of Thunder, done yet, so that'll have to wait until December when I have time again. Still, it was a breakthrough after all this time and I can cross that off my chore list.

Yay, AO3. However, I've had ATBT on my Kindle for years. It was never that hard to cut and paste it into a word doc. *g*

Part 2 of ATBT is giving me trouble. Can't download the pdf. Got parts 1 and 3 fine. Don't know if it's on my end.

It's confusing because there's ATBT, the story, and then ATBT, the series. I think I'll go back and give it another different series name. The series has 3 separate stories: 1) ATBT itself, 2) Autumn Can Really Hang You Up The Most, and 3) HP and the Slytherin-Coloured Lamborghini. (whew, what long names!).

When I download ATBT, the story, it merges both chapters 1 & 2 into one file. I was able to get all 3 stories, although sometimes it would automatically just open the pdf, and I'd save it from there.

Just got it to download. :) Not sure what changed. lol I was downloading the series so it was ACRHYUTM that was giving trouble. But no more! yay! :D

Of course! I read all my fanfic these days on a Kindle - my reading chair is way more comfy than my desk chair.
