Music blogging
OMG, do I ever suck at updating my LJ. I thought I'd do better after I retired; instead I've gotten worse.
And as the days go by there's more happening and this imaginary post in my head gets longer and longer, so that I can't even actually, you know, start the damn thing, no. So I decided to work on this elephant one bite at a time. Today I'm going to talk about how the music blogging is going.
It's going well.
Er, I'll elaborate then, shall I?
For those of you who didn't bookmark the site, here it is:
Star Maker Machine
I'm not the only blogger there - I'm one of a group. But I'm one of the most frequent posters, all excitedly like the newbie I am. I started during the week of 4/25-5/02, in case you want to go back and track down my earlier posts. I wonder if you can tell I wrote the post before you spot my name (it's at the end). Well, the J-rock will be obvious, but the others may not be. There's an index on the left.
Every week brings a new theme. This week it's songs with New York State place names in the title. I only have 4 potential candidates (I'm avoiding the obvious ones, see). Last week ("Summertime") I was really spoiled for choice.
Anyway, go take a look if you're musically inclined. Comment if you feel the urge - I'm ruined by LJ and the frequent comments I get here. I think I've only had 2 comments total, and one was from my brother-in-law. And let me know if you'd like to guest post, and I'll host you!

So it's like another blog for you? And it's all revolved around music, like you do reviews? (Sorry - natural blond here!) lol

You were the #1 person I was thinking of when I suggested guest posting. Any interest? I can host the song and photo for you.

I've been out of town on two back-to-back trips, so I've been kinda swamped. But now I'm home and I'll decide what to post on Y-D. I'm working on the last chapter of The End of Youth, too, remember that one? The failed j-rock singer and the weird guy who doted on him?

Can't say that I remember End of Youth, but I read so much between YD, Yamete and AF that I have a hard time keeping track. I just wish YD used tags, it's so hard to hunt down specific things there! (Terrible Trio keeps a list of their YD posts on their own comm so they're easier to find.)
Um, can you tell I'm an addict? XD

Hope you're avoiding all the storms my mom tells me of that are passing through this week.
