ext_14568: Lisa just seems like a perfectly nice, educated, middle class woman...who writes homoerotic fanfiction about wizards (McT-SumEx Hermione Comma)

OMG! Me too! And it's always some really complicated math class or something, and nothing I can bullshit my way through!

[identity profile] alaana-fair.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 02:28 pm (UTC)(link)
LOL! Oh, that is frighteningly true! :-D

[identity profile] furiosity.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 02:38 pm (UTC)(link)
omfg too true. And it doesn't even matter what kind of student you were -- I was Type A overachiever to the extreme, had never so much as skipped a lecture or turned in a late assignment, and yet these dreams haunt me to this day. D:

Ditto, on all counts.

Ahaha!!! Yesss, still, and even, like, a decade later!

35 years and STILL counting.

I have used nano-technology with neuro-electrodes and replaced all academic dreams w/Harry/Draco p0rn.

[identity profile] romaine24.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 04:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Yep, I still have them. :)

[identity profile] marguerite-26.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 04:55 pm (UTC)(link)
LMAO!!!

also? *cries* because it is true!!!

[identity profile] mijan.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 06:21 pm (UTC)(link)
I think I actually had that dream last night.

[identity profile] kagyakusha.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 06:59 pm (UTC)(link)
At least you can wake up? My fiance was complaining that he has that dream, and I responded "I STILL HAVE THAT REALITY!" I can't wake up because it's real! *WAIL*

[identity profile] kamion.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 08:33 pm (UTC)(link)
heaven be praised
I thought I was the only one.
I thought it was some hidden and suppresed feeling of failure
I thought I needed therapy.

it's just something everybody has.

[identity profile] dbassassin.livejournal.com 2009-03-23 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
*g*

Mine is the "OMG I can't find my classroom and the final exam started ten minutes ago AAGGGHHH!!!", running through the empty corridors dream.

[identity profile] allika.livejournal.com 2009-03-24 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
So. Tragically. True. Ugh.

[identity profile] daylyn.livejournal.com 2009-03-24 05:37 am (UTC)(link)
*cough* Yeah... I too have The Dream. *sigh*

So funny because it's sooooo true.

[identity profile] sollersuk.livejournal.com 2009-03-24 07:03 am (UTC)(link)
It's not kidding. Forty years plus after leaving school, I still get that dream.

[identity profile] teldave.livejournal.com 2009-03-24 10:35 am (UTC)(link)
YES! Mine usually involves me having to give a speech at a pep rally. I didn't know that I was supposed to do this. AND, I'm naked! Aaahhh!

[identity profile] lagreyeyes.livejournal.com 2009-03-27 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
I have this dream at least once a month! Without clothes!!

And I was a great student, so when does it STOP?

[identity profile] geoviki.livejournal.com 2009-03-31 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
This dream is part of the great American zeitgeist, clearly. I still have this dream all the friggin' time, except I'm not nude. Commonly lost on campus, though.

Happy belated birthday, too, by the way! I'm sure you don't show your age at all.

[identity profile] lagreyeyes.livejournal.com 2009-04-03 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Thanks very much!! Next year's the biggie...

As to showing or not showing my age it's undoubtedly all smoke and mirrors or, rather more likely, potions and glamours. ;-)

[identity profile] cephalopinguin.livejournal.com 2009-04-05 08:15 pm (UTC)(link)
This happens to me quite frequently, but I never wake up from it. :(
