I just found this via a link on the Maurice community, and have read it twice this evening, it's so good. Oh if you had written some more! I love the way you have their voices down so well, especially Alec's. And their situation is so believable whilst giving them the happy ending they deserve. The way George sees them being so intimate with each other, and yet they're not really doing anything but a little kissing, really shows so powerfully how much they love each other.
