Oh, that was really nice to read. You did a fantastic job creating a voice that worked for a sort of sequel. It wasn't exactly like the original, but that was good because the narrator was meant to be different, and the setting was slightly later in time. I apologize if I'm not making much sense. I just wanted to say that this is good, and I'm glad I read it.
