Oh, if I tried to reference all the cliches, it would run as long as the original fic! Too many got stuffed in. And it wasn't hard to write at all - 3 days max. The real work came from nearly 2 years of reading HP slash...and seeing the cliches in action.

We'll never deter cliche fic. Heck, I use some of these in my own stories (Malfoy losing the manor? Parseltongue? Yep.)
