Hello again! I was just peering through your recent entries after reading your fic earlier. I also usually assume that people I meet in fandom are female, since that's the clear majority -- I'm certainly not offended when people assume I'm a girl.

There are also several people in fandom who don't like to be identified with a gender, or who don't care whether they're called 'he' or 'she', or something else along those lines. switchknife and alibi_factory come to mind, though I know there are more I'm not remembering at the moment.
