This is not snow, but hail.  There was wind swirling, and lighting blasting very close by.  I'm waiting for locusts next.  We have no garden left - no tomatoes, no flowers, pretty near no leaves.

Wow! We get hail in August/September, but never enough to hang around and accumulate like that. Oh Shit is right. In related news, our temp is currently 34C/93F (feels like 43C/109F with humidity) and they're calling for thunderstorms. I wouldn't be surprised if hail accompanied it.

Well, turns out the plants are the least of our worries at the moment, unfortunately, as we try to staunch the tides of water. I...kinda miss our record-setting heat from last week. Be careful what I wish for and all that...
