Best of HP fanfiction authors: One-shots, Part 1

I was asking myself what would I recommend to someone who asked what the attraction was of HP fan fiction. Which stories showcase some of the best authors around? Obviously, this is a personal selection, culled from hundreds of bookmarked stories, and it's slash-heavy. For those of you who think I'm only about Harry/Draco - hey, look! Not so much, huh?
